Questions

Questions about wellness visits.

How long does an annual physical take?

30 minutes for the visit itself. If labs are drawn beforehand at LabCorp, results are ready to discuss at the appointment.

Do I need to fast?

For some panels, yes. When you book, ask whether fasting labs are likely so you can plan a morning draw.

How much does a physical cost?

The visit is $125. Lab work is billed through your insurance at LabCorp, or at their self-pay rate if you prefer.

Can you complete physical forms for work or school?

Bring the form to the visit and Dorothy will review what it requires. Most standard forms can be completed at the appointment.

Do I need a physical if I feel fine?

Feeling fine is the best time to establish a baseline. Blood pressure, glucose and cholesterol problems often have no symptoms until they have done damage.
