Women's health visits in Sugar Land and Cypress.
Sugar Land and Fort Bend County
This visit in Sugar Land
At the Sugar Land office, pelvic exams, injections and anything that needs a physical assessment are done in person. Baseline hormone, thyroid and metabolic labs are drawn at a LabCorp location in Fort Bend County. HRT follow-ups, birth control refills and uncomplicated UTI care can move to video.
Cypress and Northwest Houston
This visit in Cypress
At the Cypress office on US-290, perimenopause and menopause symptoms, birth control, UTI and yeast infection care and annual bloodwork are handled in scheduled 30-minute visits. Labs go through LabCorp and prescriptions to your pharmacy. HRT consultations often start by video and continue in the office when an exam or injection is needed.
HRT
Hormone therapy, explained plainly.
Hormone replacement therapy is a decision made with your symptoms, your labs and your personal and family history on the table. Dorothy walks through the benefits and the risks that apply to you, the forms available (pills, patches, gels and creams) and what monitoring looks like.
Treatment starts with baseline labs at LabCorp and a follow-up visit to adjust the dose to how you feel. Most follow-ups can be done by video.

Questions
Questions about women's health visits.
Is hormone replacement therapy safe?
For many women, HRT is a safe and effective option for menopause symptoms. Safety depends on your history, your age, and the type and timing of therapy. Dorothy reviews the risks and benefits that apply to you before anything is prescribed.
Do I need labs before starting HRT?
Usually yes. Baseline labs through LabCorp help guide dosing and rule out other causes of symptoms.
Can I get birth control by video?
Yes, for pills, patches and rings, as long as you are physically in Texas. Long-acting methods need an in-person procedure, which we refer for.
Can you treat a UTI by video?
Uncomplicated UTIs are often treated by video. Recurrent or complicated cases may need testing in person.
How much does a women's health visit cost?
$125 per visit. Labs are billed to your insurance at LabCorp, and prescriptions are filled at your pharmacy.
